The Faculty of Music was established in 2013, with a focus on specialty music education in a one-on-one tailored environment. All of our teachers are tertiary qualified, highly experienced, and engaging, and have varied teaching backgrounds with ages ranging from toddler to adult.
The Faculty of Music has an extensive lending library for all students, with many of the core books available for borrowing. Extra books, recommended by our teachers, can be ordered through the Faculty at your request. Licensed copies of music are also readily available to be printed by our teachers.
We provide lessons on a Kawai and Yamaha instruments that have been hand picked for their tone, touch, and quality. It is recommended that students have an instrument to practice on before commencing lessons, with an 88-key touch sensitive keyboard the minimum requirement for beginner piano students. If you would like advice on which instrument to choose, please get in touch.
Our studio likes to stay up to date with the latest in music and technology. We regularly use suites including Sibelius, ProTools, Auralia + Musition, TIDO, Dorico, as well as other software, and offer cloud-based accounts for all suitable students wishing to expand their theory, aural, and composition skills.
